Choose your pool and discover which Alocasia Corms are waiting inside.

Each pack contains a selection of randomly selected Alocasia Corms from the varieties available in your chosen pool.

You can see all the varieties you may receive before ordering, while the exact contents of your pack remain a surprise until you open it.

Corms within the same pack are selected as different varieties, allowing you to discover several genetics.

How to grow your Mystery Corms

To sprout our Alocasia Corms, we mainly use the Root Starter.

Growing your Corm in substrate is still a perfectly suitable option if you are already familiar with this method. However, we personally prefer the Root Starter , which is specifically designed to create favourable conditions for Corm development.

The system consists of a transparent pot, a section containing biochar, and a grid on which the Corm rests.

Simply add water to the biochar section. The grid keeps the Corm positioned above the water, so it is not directly submerged.

This creates a warm and highly humid micro-environment around the Corm while maintaining separation between the Corm and the water.

For optimal sprouting conditions, we recommend keeping the Root Starter between 25 and 28°C in a bright location without intense direct sunlight.

Under these conditions, Corms can generally begin developing quickly. Sprouting time can still vary depending on the variety, maturity of the Corm and growing conditions.
